Since 1998 Ed Sanders had been calling on FHLB for business. In 2016 I had met Ed though ISM and once you meet him 2 things happen, either you love him or want nothing to do with him. As funny as it might sound, we received recommendations about his firms attention to detail, thoroughness and willingness to go the extra yard. We put him to the test on the recommendation of the Switzer Group and we are delghted we did. We still use him for various facility related services in 2023.
The Team at Directed has always stayed one step ahead of our requirements for the past 20 years. Being a property owner we are always modifying our offices for the tennants. When we require sames day delvery of Human Scale sit stand desks, monitor stands, seating and various move related services, there is always Ed there with a smile happy to assist, even when faced with impossible to meet timelines.
Most currently we were working on a project to re-outfit our mailroom and copy center at 1 NYP. Their team was able to step in, repalce the existing provider and complete our major project on time and on budget.
During COVID we were tasked to make our empoyees feel comfortable returning to the office. We utilized Directed for our Los Angeles offices and to our surprise the interior work they did for us is till part of operation today in 2023. Over the last 4 years we have been challenged to find service providers who love what they do and resond. On a recommedation we tried this resource and found for PPE, Polycard, Masks, Merv Filters and much much more they always delivered with a smile. Even theor delvery person whcih is one of Ed’s sons is always happy, go figure.
As the new Director of Facilites we have utilized Directed for various projects during COVID and continue to utilize them when we have some very unusal requests. Their attention to detail and staff make interactrions simply amazing.

Based on a recommendation from IA we contacted Diretced for some ADA compliant signage and they facilitated the project on time and under budget significantly.
I just wanted to let you know first thing in the morning that Jared did such a phenomenal job with our instalaltion. Seriously, I didn’t know how he was going to get all of the graphics matched up correctly with the phrases and letters and align and level them with really no wiggle room—he had to do quite a bit of resizing cutting centering measurement adjustments etc. It really was quite an undertaking! Our structures that he adhered them to are quite an unusual shape not to mention the fact that they are different measurements on opposing ends.
Again, we’ve only been at this location about 3 ½ months and Jared is special, really special and I have to say he’s the first vendor that I’ve seen with soo much attention to detail, patience, and an unbelievably high standard for excellence about his work!
Call up Directed on a Friday Afternoon in Feb 2023 and require his team to be at our space in Midtown Monday morning to reinstall signage after having millwork refinished over the weekend. They are simply amazing, they never say NO, and deliver above an dbeyond your expectaions
Subleassing space from S&P in 55 Water Street in Nov 2021 and havng to refit it for 500 employees without a Facility Manager was a true challenge. We called Directed to Remove and Reuphoster 700 PEDs, 2500 Electrificed panels, paint 2 Floors, coordinate moves and relocations and provide distraction banding and wall papers, their team did an amzing job and was 50% less expensive then the recommended vendors. Our team was impressed to say the least all work facilitated on a handshake and simple proposal.

We utilized their services and produced a Tiffany Quality piece which our CEO saw and was impressed.
